Learning can be seen as a process that is directed towards goals and a process of doing through various experiences designed by teachers which can be integrated through student behavior which can be formed through the development of cultural values based on character education. Learning is also a process of seeing, observing and understanding something. those around the students.
Optimizing character education starts with the teacher himself and then he can shape the character of the students. In the process of development and formation, students' characters are influenced by two factors, namely: (1) environmental factors (nurture) and (2) innate factors (nature). Character is easy to understand as uniquely good values, character that radiates from the results of thought, heart, exercise, as well as the feelings and intentions of a person or group of people.
