I wrote this little book on purpose because I was inspired by so many hadith arguments which at first glance seem to contradict each other. This is what some scholars call ta'arudh al-dillah or conflicting arguments.

In cases like this, sometimes the differences in the arguments can become the basis for differences of opinion among the scholars. However, sometimes the differences are more due to the fact that they are part of the process of perfecting the Shari'a.

For example, the five daily prayers that we know have been prescribed since the events of the Isra' and Mi'raj. Even though the incident did not occur in the early days of Islamic law, in fact some scholars say it happened in the tenth year, Hijriyah, and some say the twelfth or even thirteenth year of Hijriyah.

Question: before the Isra Mi'raj event did the Prophet SAW and his Companions not pray?

The answer is of course they pray. However, his prayers were not yet the five daily prayers as we know them today. Then what is the prayer like?

That is what then motivated the author to probe further, about how the historical process is in its syariatan.

What is clear is that everything goes through a long process, not something that has just fallen from the sky. There are certain parts that were originally required and then reduced to mere sunnah.

And there are certain parts that were allowed and then banned and not allowed.
