10 interactive missions to revise the CE2 mathematics program.
This application offers 10 interactive missions to train in mathematics through numeration, calculation, geometry and logic tests. Like an escape game, the student has a limited time to find clues and solve the missions.
3 modes:
• Discovery: to become familiar with the various mission exercises.
• Training: 10 missions, without recorded results.
• Assignment: the 10 assignments with student results recorded and visible in individual reports.
Sequence of a mission (Training / Mission mode):
1. Mission scenario: a text contextualizes the mission and indicates the puzzle to be solved.
2. Time room: the student must save time for his mission by doing mental calculations.
3. Research room: the student must find 4 objects on which he must click to find the 4 clues that will solve the mission. Each object leads him to a specific type of exercise (numeration, calculation, geometry and logic) which will allow him to collect numerical clues that will be used to solve a final test.
4. Investigation notebook: the student uses the 4 clues collected to solve the final mathematical test of the investigation notebook and complete the mission. This final test is associated with skills of size and measurement.
Content of the exercises
Each exercise corresponds to a skill area: numeration, calculation, geometry, logic. 3 exercises for each area are offered randomly from one mission to another, and configurable by the teacher.
Numeration
- Who am I ? : the student associates a representation with a number.
- Number timeline: the student associates the representation of a number with its location on a number timeline.
- Comparison of numbers: the student finds the correct symbol to compare numbers.
Calculations
- Calculation pyramid: the student adds 2 numbers side by side to find the number on the top line.
- The right target: the student calculates the number of points in each target zone from an overall number of points.
- Problem solving: the student solves a problem based on a statement.
Geometry
- Who am I ? : the student finds the figure that corresponds to the description.
- Méli mélo: the student must recognize and count tangled figures.
- Symmetry: the pupil finds the symmetrical figures among those presented.
Logic
- Logical sequences: the student completes a sequence of numbers.
- Sudoku: the student fills in the grid without putting the same number twice in the same block.
- Riddle: the student must find the numbers associated with symbols.
Goals
• Understand and use whole numbers to count, order, identify, compare.
• Name, read, write, represent whole numbers.
• Solve problems using whole numbers and calculation.
• Calculate with whole numbers.
• Compare, estimate, measure lengths, masses, capacities, durations.
