About Kitab Ajwibah Ibnu Hajar

Explanation of the Book of Ajwibah by Ibn Hajar by Ibn Hajar Al Asqalani

This Android application is an explanation of the book Ajwibah Ibn Hajar by Ibn Hajar Al Asqalani. In PDF format.

The Book of Ajwibah Ibn Hajar by Ibn Hajar Al Asqalani, born in Egypt in 773 H, died in 852 H in the same country. A hafidz, muhadith, as well as a faqih with the Shafi'i school of thought. He is known as the author of Fathul Bari (Syarh Sahih Bukhari), Bulughul Maram, Lisanul Mizan, and others.

His full name is Al Imam Al 'Allamah al Hafizh Syihabuddin Abul Fadhl Ahmad bin Ali bin Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ali bin Mahmud bin Hajar, Al Kinani, Al 'Asqalani, Asy Syafi'i, Al Mishri. Then known by the name of Ibn Hajar, and his title "Al Hafizh".

The book contains Ibn Hajar's answers to various questions that were questioned by a number of his students. These questions were asked by students through handwritten letters sent from various regions, there were requests for fatwas, for example, those that came from Makkah and Baitulmaqdis, while Ibn Hajar was domiciled in Egypt at that time. The various questions were collected per category and submitted collectively.

There were three main senders from the group, namely Shamsuddin bin Muhammad bin al-Khidir al-Mishri, Umar bin Fahad al-Hasyimi al-Makki, and Zainuddin Ridlwan bin Muhamad bin Yusuf al-Aqabi. However, in the same book, you will also find the humble side of Ibn Hajar. Even though he is known to be adept at mastering religious knowledge, that does not make him reluctant to ask the teacher.

In other parts of the book, Ibn Hajar's questions to his teacher, al-Hafidz al-Iraqi, are also included.

Unlike the first category, in the second section no information was found about the identity of the questioner. The second part describes a number of issues including, for example, the law and degrees of certain hadiths or even asking for directions regarding the meaning of the hadith itself. Among the issues that were asked of Ibn Hajar were the total number of Prophets, what were their names, and how many were sent as Rasulullah SAW from them in total.

OK, that was a quick review of Ibn Hajar's book Ajwibah, which we can share. Hopefully what has been shared and conveyed can be useful.
