With this book we experience the early moments of struggle (jihad) in Islam. We delve into the revelation of the revelation to the Prophet Muhammad. which carries the message of jihad. We can also appreciate how great his direction as supreme commander was to his people. A people who are entrusted by Allah to maintain the Islamic faith. Let us live the following words of Allah: "(namely) those who (when) receive news conveyed by humans (ka/'ir), 'Indeed people have mobilized (troops) to attack you, therefore be afraid of them', then "The news actually increased their faith, then they shouted: 'Allah is sufficient as our Helper and Allah is the best Protector'," (QS Ali Imran [3]: 172).

So, it is fitting that they bear the title of the best people as Allah means in His words, "You are the best people that have been brought forth for mankind, you enjoin what is right and forbid what is evil, and you believe in Allah," (QS Ali Imran [3]: 110).

This book is a codification of the words of Sheikh Imam al-Sya'rawi who spoke about jihad. We enriched Sheikh Sya'rawi's explanation by studying the verses of the Qur'an about jihad from various Tafsir, Hadith and History books, which we then embedded in this book as a complement to the explanation of Sheikh al-Sya'rawi's sayings.

We hope that this book will be useful for both the writer and the reader. May Allah SWT. repay his services with the best reward. The end of our prayer is that Allah's mercy will always be poured out on our Prophet, Muhammad SAW..!
