Wopé Conducteur allows you to make the most of your daily journeys on the Le Tampon / St-Pierre axis by making your available places available to service users. Enter information about your journeys directly via the application: arrival and departure points, day and time etc. You will be compensated according to the characteristics of your journeys (see remuneration conditions on alterneo.re). In addition, the existence of your journeys will be brought to the attention of potential passengers who may, if they wish, request to carpool with you. You will be able to accept their reservations from the application and thus double the amount of your compensation.

The concept :

With Wopé, Alternéo brings together drivers who regularly make defined journeys by car and potential passengers looking for a solution to travel on the same axis.

Two carpooling lines are thus deployed between Le Tampon and St-Pierre. These lines are punctuated by several stops where the various pick-up and drop-offs of service users take place. Consult the list of stops on alterneo.re or directly in the application, once downloaded.

Note: The travel offer depends on the number of drivers subscribing to the service and the number of journeys they undertake. So don't hesitate to introduce Wopé to your loved ones because the expansion of the driver community will significantly improve the offer.

Guaranteed remuneration even when empty:

Alternéo undertakes to remunerate you monthly on the basis of the journeys actually made (see compensation conditions on alterneo.re), even if you are not carrying passengers. Before each trip, remember to click on "Start the trip" to guarantee your compensation.

No money transfer between you and the passenger:

To ensure your compensation when picking up your passenger, you will simply have to have them scan your qrcode. This will serve as validation of his ticket.

Complementarity with the public transport network:

The Le Tampon / St-Pierre axis is served by line 2 of the CIVIS urban transport network: Alternéo. All of the Wopé carpooling stops are also bus stops. Likewise, the Tampon interchange and the St-Pierre bus station are served, which ensures a good complementarity between the two modes of transport and allows the development of intermodal journeys.

Consideration of current health constraints:

Carpooling remains possible in the current context. However, it is necessary to respect the health obligations issued by the government and in particular the wearing of masks for the driver and passengers.
