Version 1.2 is going to improve the app's loading speed. The communication of results from the Wikipedia server as well as pictures sent to an attached Wear watch is much faster than earlier releases. On the map screen you can use a map pin to open the detail view of any page in the list.
This update also incorporates the permissions model that belongs to Android 6. It changes from using fine, exact location to using coarse, approximate location which will run faster and save battery life.
