Application to manage waste easily: get the waste picked up from your doorstep.

Solid waste management is made easy through this app.

This app provides the user the locations of the nearby public recycle bins, and also they can schedule a pick up from a desired location. The waste collectors can also register in this app. Orders near the work location will be assigned to the collector as per their availability. The waste can be any type of solid waste which includes e-waste, paper, plastic, etc.

The pickup order for the public bins will be placed by the administrators on a regular basis. These orders will also be sent to the registered collectors. All the orders move through the following stages: placed, accepted and completed.

User Guidelines:

User has to register in the app either as a user (disposer) or as a collector

Use the map to find the nearest public bin to dispose the waste

The waste from these bins will be collected on a regular basis

If a pickup is required from other location, simply place an order

The most convenient location and time can be setup for the pickup

The order is sent to the nearest available collector

A notification is sent to the collector regarding the new pickup assigned

The collector will pick up the waste and mark the order as complete

In case, it is not possible for the collector to complete the order, then they can decline it. Then the order will be sent to the next available collector.

Key features

Nearest public bins available on map: The list of all bins are available in the app, the focus of the map will be on the current location of the user, thereby the nearest bin can be visited for disposal of waste.

Pickup from any location at your convenience: A pickup order can be placed for any desired location and the time can also be set, thus pickup is also available at your doorsteps.

Image proof for the orders provided: While placing the order along with the items, it is also necessary to attach a proof image of the waste, this can be used by the collector for validation.

Collectors assigned pickups as per availability: The pickups assigned to the collectors are stored in the database. This is used to check the availability of a collector for the placed order.

Automatic collector selection feature upon cancellation: Every collector has the option to accept or decline an order. So in case, it is not possible for the collector to complete the order, then they can decline it. The cancelled order will automatically be assigned to the next available collector.
