The main monuments of early Christianity located in Lebanon are monasteries and temples. Some of them were restored after the civil war, like the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Zahla, others have preserved authentic architecture, like the old church of St. Nicholas in Sidon (today it is the city of Saida).
