About Virtual Tour Free

Run your Virtual Tours offline locally without coding your own App.

Virtual Tour Free is designed for virtual tour developers. It is designed to allow you to run your virtual tours offline locally without coding your own App. Simply place your virtual tour html files into a specific folder and launch the app. Your virtual tour will then instantly be displayed on your android device as if you have just written your own Android app.

Idea for developers providing completely offline virtual tours to clients, as well those showcasing their work to clients without the worry of having internet access or large files.

IMPORTANT

Please download and test this free edition of Virtual Tour before purchasing this Pro version. Due to the different way some manufactures use external file paths, you are asked to test the free version first to ensure your device can access the external path where your virtual tour files will be located. This version of Virtual Tour Free is a "Device Type 1" version.

Instructions.

Install this App on your Android device.

Create a folder called ".virtual-tour" on your android device. (note there is a "." at the beginning of the folder name).

Copy your virtual tour to your android device using your PC/MAC, while making sure your main html file is named index.html

Using your Android device, move your virtual tour into the ".virtual-tour" folder.

Your now ready to launch the App.

When you Launch the app the Virtual Tour Free app reads your index.html file that you placed in the root of the ".virtual-tour" folder. Bearing that in mind, if you want to display your own menu inside Virtual Tour Free that contains images and graphics to multiple Virtual Tours, you simply need to design your index.html file accordingly and the Virtual Tour Free app will read through it and follow all hyper links.

For example, lets say you want to store 4 Virtual Tours inside the Virtual Tour Free app. Your folder structure should look something like this.

/.virtual-tour/index.html

/.virtual-tour/Tour 1/tour.html

/.virtual-tour/Tour 2/tour.html

/.virtual-tour/Tour 3/tour.html

/.virtual-tour/Tour 4/tour.html

On launch, the Virtual Tour Free app looks for your index.html in the root of the ".virtual-tour" folder. Once if finds it, the Virtual Tour Free app will run every Tour you have hyper linked to inside the index.html file.

For example, the body of your index.html file should look like the following to relate to the folder structure shown above.

href="Tour 1/tour.html">Crystal View Hotel

href="Tour 2/tour.html">Pizza World

href="Tour 3/tour.html">The Wet Aquarium

href="Tour 4/tour.html">House of Horror

The only file that must use a specific name is your index.html file, and you must place this file in the root of the .virtual-tour folder. Beyond that you can use whatever file and folder structure you like and customise any file as you like.
