Biola is a stringed instrument that is played by swiping. The violin has four strings (G-D-A-E) which are set differently from each other with a perfect fifth interval. The lowest tone is G.

Historically it was noted that the Biola stringed instrument was first introduced in Italy, the city of Turin in 1523. The shape of the violin was displayed in the form of a statue or sculpture "little angel playing violin" in a church in Vercelli.

The first violin consists of 3 strings. Since 1540 the violin has 4 strings in a shape similar to the current violin.

The stringed instrument which first entered Europe consists of two types, namely: Vertical grip and grip on the arm. Violin with a vertical handle is a way of presenting the string instrument.
