Vintage Racers for Rescues powered by Sasco Sports is based in Blanch, NC near our home race track of Virginia International Raceway. We rescue hundreds of dogs and cats each year from shelters in rural NC and VA. These facilities are always full and sadly have very high euthanasia rates. Our silent auction fundraisers throughout the year are our #1 source of donations to pay for our vet bills that can reach $200,000 a year. We are a 501c3 non profit volunteer based group that is foster home based. We do not have a facility. Each cat/dog receives complete vet care at one of our 7 vet partners. This ranges from general wellness exams, vaccines and spay/neuter to patients that need emergency surgery, orthopedics, dermatologic care, eye surgery, cancer treatment, etc... Our rescues live in foster homes and receive love and training until we find a furever home that is the best match for the cat or dog and a family.
