The VHFPlus app offers doctors information on the treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF) with new oral anticoagulants (NOACs).

Users receive a basic introduction to the subject of AF, in which, among other things, pathogenesis, diagnostics and therapy with NOACs as well as information on rhythm and frequency control are discussed. However, you can also use fictitious case studies to expand your knowledge interactively. The following practice-relevant situations are presented in the case studies: the change of anticoagulation during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, the treatment of multimorbid AF patients, the treatment of aging AF patients and the treatment of patients with NOACs in the peri- and postoperative setting. A learning success control is carried out while working on the case studies by means of multiple-choice questions. Due to legal regulations (Heilmittelwerbegesetz), the app can only be used by members of the specialist group and is password-protected via DocCheck.
