Vaza Dengue! is an application that aims to combat Dengue Fever, Chikungunya, and Zika Fever collaboratively by identifying areas of mosquito infection and sharing alerts with users and health authorities. It allows you to view and comment on existing mosquito alerts from our vast database, adding your thoughts to help the community grow stronger. Create your own mosquito alert and share it with your friends on Twitter and Facebook! You can also share alerts from other users. Did you find an alert close to you? Share it! Vaza Dengue! is well integrated with various social media platforms.

Observe the alerts made by our community in real-time GPS and heat maps. Monitor your neighborhood and inform health workers of possible nests. Together we can combat the mosquito!

We also collect new alerts from different social networks. The Vaza Dengue! project searches for mosquito related posts on Twitter and Instagram. Our system then collects and categorizes all mosquito related posts automatically. Thus, we can always show you the most relevant posts.
