7 sound creations around Mont Lozère along the GR 7® and the GR 70®.

Vadrouïlle is a documentary sound creation project. It was produced during an artistic residency in the Cévennes National Park, between June 2020 and July 2021 by Lorine Carton-Amor and Sami Tedeschi, members of the Lundi Soir collective.

During this period of residence, the two artists traveled through Mont-Lozère and its surroundings in order to sketch a portrait of the territory.

They went to meet those who live and work there, passing through or installed.

All of them carry something of the singular substance of this place. It is through their gestures, their words and their silences that the two directors have questioned, over the seasons, the intimate and complex relationship that the inhabitants have with Mont-Lozère.

From these meetings were born 7 documentary sound creations, lasting 6 to 18 min.

Lorine & Sami thought of the Vadrouïlle project as an immersive and sensory dive inside the territory. Their creations can be listened to in situ on the hiking trails, between the Bleymard and the Pont de Montvert.

To materialize the listening points on the GR 7® and the GR 70®, engraved stones have been placed along these two footpaths.

The Vadrouïlle application was developed especially for the project. In addition to the 7 sound creations offered, it provides practical information to hikers who want to listen to them: detailed description of the project, location points for engraved stones, map of the territory and geolocation, addresses of loan and rendering of listening kits.

Public: hikers of the GR 7®, GR 70® and surroundings, curious about the paths, inhabitants of the territory, lovers of sound from 7 to 107 years old.

For those who wish to download the application but do not have headphones, the loan of listening kits is made in partner locations.
