DigiVac’s Vacuum Gauge App is a comprehensive tool for tracking, logging, graphing, sharing and analyzing vacuum levels and trends, both locally via tablet/smartphone or from around the world via vacuumnetwork.org . Remotely monitor long-term vacuum processes and installations and generate detailed graphs of changing vacuum levels over time, helping to track your progress, diagnose leaks or troubleshoot system malfunctions. The app communicates in 9 units of measurement with customizable graphing intervals. No matter if your process is a transformer dryout or a short-path distillation system.

Unique features:

Graphing Feature: A vacuum pressure vs. time graph with several time durations available from 10 seconds through 24 hours. Capture data at custom intervals for a comprehensive picture of how vacuum levels change over time. The graph automatically scales to capture the upper and lower pressure values on the y axis that was achieved in the given time window.

Data Logging Feature: Enables the user to choose how often data is logged. The time durations available are once per second, once per minute and once per hour. Short processes like baseline testing of small pumps might benefit from short intervals, while data from long processes like transformer dryouts may be only necessary once per hour.

Alarm Feature: A standard gauge alarm requires you to be right there to hear it. This Vacuum Gauge App alarm can be set at any value between 1 millitorr and 760,000 millitorr. When the vacuum level falls above the high, or below the low, set point, it will sound through your device and alert you of the change.

Sharing Feature:Share saved data and graphs with the touch of a button via Gmail or Dropbox. The data will automatically convert to a .csv file, which can be formatted in Excel and analyzed.

Vacuumnetwork.org Feature: This is the first application of vacuum gauges in the cloud. The Vacuum Gauge 2.0 app communicates with vacuumnetwork.org so system pressures can be viewed from anywhere in the world! While the phone or tablet hosting the app will need to be within 300 feet of the gauge, the customer and gauge ID's created will allow logging onto the DigiVac cloud site to view specific gauge data from across the room, across the country, or across the ocean.

The distance between the vacuum gauge and the tablet or mobile device is about 300 feet line of sight. The signal is sent via Bluetooth Low Energy, or Bluetooth 4.0. The signal can go through some walls and around some curves, but that will diminish the overall distance.

Remote Viewing Feature: Multi-task freely while having your current gauge reading at your fingertips. No need to sit and monitor a gauge in-person. For evacuations of several minutes or longer, a technician can be working with other parts of the system or doing other tasks. The App is available in units of millitorr, microns, Torr, mbar, Pa, feet (altitude at standard temperature and pressure), and inches of mercury.

Reconnection and Background robustness: If a gauge momentarily turns off or becomes disconnected with the App, the App will automatically reconnect with the gauge and continue any logging, graphing or alerting that is set. Further, if the App gets backgrounded, it will still log to a data file or vacuumnetwork.org and alert.
