A Vaccine Tracker aims to keep track of their child’s Vaccination schedule.

Immunization is one of the most important things a parent can do to protect their children’s

health. Today we can protect children from 14 serious diseases. Failure to vaccinate may mean putting

children at risk for serious diseases. This App helps the parents to keep track of their child’s

Vaccination schedule. The app was created in response to the growing challenge faced by parents of

keeping track of the increased number of vaccinations that children are required to receive. Since its

launch last year the tool has proved very popular with parents.

The tracker provides a personalised vaccination schedule listing all of the current childhood

vaccinations, when they are due and what they are for, as well as useful background information

about the benefits of each immunisation and why they are important.

The new service provides:

• Alerts each time a vaccine is due

• The facility to include the phone number of the local medical centre to call them for an appointment

immediately after receiving the reminder

• A unique disease notification service, in the event of disease outbreaks eg. mumps, measles etc

• Periodical records of vaccination

• Facility to download the reports of the child’s vaccination details.
