About the German Lawyers Association

The German Lawyers' Association (DAV) represents the interests of the German legal profession. In addition, it offers members of the local lawyers' associations training, information, communication and service. According to its statutes, the purpose of the DAV is to safeguard, maintain and promote all professional and economic interests of the legal profession, including the legal notary’s office.
