universe2go is an audio-visual guide sky.

universe2go has two modes:

1) Star Map Mode: Use this mode to use universe2go without the Astro-Glasses. This mode has limited functionality.

2) Planetary mode: Used together with the Astro-Glasses Universe2go, you can experience the starry sky in a new way, with audio and an augmented reality superposition.

How does it work?

Used together with the RA-Astro-Glasses (RA = augmented reality), you can see the night sky with all its stars And at the same time, you can see additional information about the stars and constellations. In this way, a symbiosis between the real sky and virtual graphics is created. Universe2go uses the sensors of your smartphone to generate the information corresponding to the exact point of the sky you are looking at.

You may already be familiar with other stellar map apps that can do this too (some claim to make augmented reality, but fail in the attempt, since the smartphone camera is not capable of forming the images of the night sky). But Universe2go is different.

1) universe2go uses a special algorithm to identify the stars you are looking at with high reliability (you can compare it with other apps.)

2) universe2go shows the constellations of the same size as they appear in the sky (other apps show them smaller, so it is difficult for beginners to combine what is shown on the screen with reality)

3) univers2go is fun. It will automatically activate a zoom, which will show planets, nebulae, galaxies, satellites, and much more with an astonishing magnificence of many images, even in 3D.

Universe2go has different modes, so you can explore the night sky in different ways:

1) Mode-Explore: explore the 88 official constellations. Look at the lines that join the stars and listen to the information that the constellation describes.

2) Mode-Mythology: listen to entertaining stories about the constellations, what the ancient Greeks said about them. With this mode you can easily learn about ancient heroes, gods, beasts and beautiful princesses.

3) Deep-Sky Mode: View images (mostly made with the Hubble Space Telescope) of planets, nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, comets, satellites, in a way that even with the best telescope, it would be impossible. Many of them even in 3D, which have been processed especially for the universe2go.

4) Question Mode: Test your knowledge about the night sky. Find the constellation that universe2go shows you.

universe2go contains more than 3 hours of excellent audio and hundreds of specially processed images. It contains the complete Hipparcos star catalog (120,000 stars) and the NGC catalog (7,000 objects).
