Having one unifying calendar is very important and is everyone's dream. One sad reality is that Muslims to this day do not have a unique calendar, even though their civilization is more than 14 centuries old.

The absence of a unified calendar has had an impact that we all don't want, namely a kind of chaos in determining important religious days and Islamic worship such as the beginning of Ramadan, Shawwal and Zulhijah.

Meanwhile, the pilgrims performed wukuf at Arafah on Friday, 3 October 2014. Eid al-Fitr that year also fell on three different days.
