This app launches an animated heart or UGA’s mascot dressed as a veterinarian.

This app was created as an innovative way to welcome newly admitted students to the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. The app functions as a component of the College’s Welcome Class of 2021 day, when t-shirts containing the markers are distributed to the new class members. One of the markers triggers an animated beating 3-D heart, which is a preview of new teaching materials being used in the curriculum. When the heart’s outer surface becomes transparent, the students will be able to see the heart valves in action. The other marker triggers a cartoon-version of the university’s mascot dressed as a veterinarian that welcomes the students to the College.
