FNGO Reporting Application.

Uttarakhand Forest Resource Management Project (UFRMP) aims at eco-restoration and

development of forest resources, by empowering the community through their improved

livelihoods and income generation. Forestry and Livelihood Component of the Project is

being implemented in participatory mode by Van Panchayats (VPs) and Self Help Groups

(SHGs).

1378 SHGs in 13 Forest Divisions have been formed under the project. Field Level Co-

ordinators (FLCs)have been assigned at Range level for Capacity Building, Planning of

Activity Clusters, infrastructure development, Technology, Credit linkage, Marketing etc. in

different SHGs under the supervision of Marketing Specialist attached to the DMU.

It is proposed to develop a GIS integrated mobile application to digitally record the daily

activities of FLCs & Marketing specialists and monitor their activities for planning and

decision making.
