With different brands introduced daily, designers have come up with many variations and have transformed its appearance according to the demands of the marketplace. Women who want to look their best while keeping themselves covered in an Islamic way use different styles of hijab and satiate their desire to look elegant.

Hijab Material: Different materials have been used in creating different styles of hijabs. Casually worn hijabs utilize plain cotton and jersey material to suit the weather and climate. Other materials utilized for the hijab include silk, net, rayon, polyester. Some glittery and shiny materials are also used for a glamorous and stylish look.

Hijab Colors: Hijabs are available in various colors that suit women's personality really well. Solid colors in black, brown, fawn, and beige are are worn more commonly by Muslim women. Other bright colors are also available which can be contrasted and complemented with ones dresses. However, bright color hijabs are usually not commonly worn in the workplace and are instead reserved for social occassions.

Styles of hijabs: Other than the basic scarves that once were commonly worn as hijab, other styles have entered the mainstream market. The long knee-length hijabs are available for modest ladies who want to cover themselves up from head to toe. Other shorter hijabs are worn with abaya dresses and other casual clothes. Hijabs also come in styles that are commonly referred to as Kuwaiti hijab, Dubai-style hijab, Arabic hijab, Turkish hijabs and so on.

Hijab caps: Hijab caps are used by many Muslim women. A Hijab cap is usually worn under scarves and shawls to keep the hair from showing - a key requirement in Islamic clothing.

With more Muslim women entering the workplace and attending schools, the trends in Hijab styles and fashions will continue to evolve with time.
