A translation tool for the medical care of migrant patients.

The medical care of foreigners, whether they are legal or illegal, is complex. Indeed, it faces several barriers including one of the most important is the language barrier. Existing tools that aims to overcome this difficulty have certain limitations. It lacked an intermediate tool that would be between the book of translation and interpreting.

Traducmed is an application designed to allow medical personnel to assess the situation in the absence of translators and evaluate medical emergencies, social or administrative. This application also helps to explain to the patient the course of the medical examination. It offers translations sound a medical examination in French and phrases to explain the medical care.

It can be used to help the consultant doctors in the context of access to hotlines healths care (PASS), in the centers of free consultations (Doctors of the World, Consulting precariousness ...), in detention centers, units prison health care ...

This site is not meant to replace a live interpreter but may allow, in certain situations, to accelerate and improve the medical care of patients, to get an idea of ​​the overall situation of these, to consider the care and offer each patient the best possible direction.
