You only need to have coordinates from your center line or base line and coordinates from the points you want to add your topographic symbology to.

With this data it computes projection of each point into your base line or center line so you can add symbols to your topographic profiles.

The app comes with its manual so you can learn how to use it and it may help you to be more productive when drawing topographic profiles or architectonic drawing cuts.

The app creates a "lsp" file that you can then load into your cad drawing software, and adds to your commands a new one named "PROFILE" which will guide you in data needed to draw symbology to your topographic profiles or architectural drawing.

Its main job is then:

* Compute x and y projections from points coordinates into base line.

* Create "lsp" file to use on cad software to draw symbology into profiles.

Its a great app for Topography work, but it may also be used on architectural or structural drawings, as it only computes projection of points into base lines or cut line, so you may add floors symbology, sewer symbols, or any other kind of symbology you may wan to draw into a base line.

So if you ever have the need of adding points with symbols and heights to your topographic or architectural profiles drawings (.dwg) this app can help you with creating a file ".lsp" that you can load on your dwg drawing and adding to your topographic file a new command named PROFILE.

With it you can add the points you created with this topography app to your profile and symbols on it.
