About The Tribune

The Tribune is a popular newspaper published from Chandigarh.

The Tribune is the most read English daily of North India, published from Chandigarh. It has a wide readership among the Indian diaspora too. Bringing you news and views without any bias or prejudice, The Tribune exercises restraint and moderation, rather than instigating language or partisanship.

The Tribune started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Late Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust. The Tribune Group of Newspapers also publishes Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).

Features of The Tribune App:

* The menu for the various news/features sections can be accessed through the options link at the top left corner, or by sliding the menu out of the left edge.

* The menu is also available in the horizontal bar at the top. This bar can be made to slide to reach a desired section quickly.

* When reading a story in a particular section, you can swipe for the next story in the same section.

* Every time the app is opened, it gets automatically refreshed. But you may want to refresh it manually (top right corner) to get the latest news updates in case the app has been open for a long time.
