Within the life-sustaining ring, however, life is relatively easy.

The land is fertile, and since the God-figure has the singular mission to make life easy for the remnants of humanity, the likes of climate change do not exist.

The land is also home to a large number of mineral vein, which is only beginning to be tapped into. However, the land is under-exploited and the God-figure would very much want it to remain that way, since he of all people is aware of what happened in actual history.
