About The Grey Book

St George's Guidelines for the management of common medical emergencies

“Guidelines for the Management of Common Medical Emergencies and for the Use of Antimicrobial Drugs” or the Grey Book, was first published and edited by Professor Joe Collier in August 1979. It is probably the oldest established set of such guidelines in the UK.

The Grey Book App brings the guidelines to the mobile phones which have become ubiquitous and essential for any junior doctor.

Already successful on Apple devices, this is the first release on the android platform which widens the reach of the apps to a multitude of Android based devices.

Features include

- Latest guidance written by Consultants from each specialty

- Easy to navigate table of contents

- Drugs link to online BNF (MedicineComplete/open athens account required)

- Super fast searching of table or the entire text

- Content adapted for mobile devices - no side ways scrolling/zooming in and out of main text (as with PDFs).

- Navigate diagrams and flow charts with 'pinch to zoom' gestures
