The Chainsmokers is an American DJ duo consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall.

The duo has twenty-one in Several countries with 2014's "#Selfie", reaching number sixteen on US Billboard Hot 100, number three in Australia, and number eleven in the UK. They released their debut EP, Bouquet, in October 2015. Followed the single "Roses" Reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, while "Do not Let Me Down" became their first top single in the top 5. "Closer", featuring vocals from Halsey, became the first single to go into their number one on the charts.

Andrew Taggart (born December 31, 1989) is of Scottish descent and raised in Freeport, Maine. His mother is a teacher and his father is a prosthetics salesman. He turned to EDM at the age of 15 while abroad while, Argentina, where he was introduced with David Guetta music, Daft Punk and Trentemøller.
