TFThrowAnalysis provides throw events analysis & training for Track & Field
TFThrowAnalysis application (Part of TF Series) is based on accurate & complete athlete model for evaluating event performance & fitness. It uses supplied athlete data to optimize Run Way Approach & Circle Approach.
Run Way Approach includes Javelin Throw events. Circle Approach includes Shot Put, Discus Throw, Hammer Throw, & Weight Throw events.
Application also includes training capabilities. It can be used as a Personal Training aid. It is compatible with & follows guidelines from USA Track & Field Coaching Manual.
Application also uses supplied athlete data to analyze, predict, or optimize Throw Results, & training capabilities for Track & Field. Training can then be adjusted based on analysis results. The process is then periodically repeated for best results.
Data can be supplied directly or externally downloaded. External file names start with EFSP, EFDT, EFJT, EFHT, or EFWT. Parameters & data supplied using csv (comma separated values) file.
Application uses supplied athlete data & specified Run Distance times for Approach Analysis calculations. Calculated values for specified Run Way Distance, Max Run Rate, Time Constant, Max Step Distance, & Min Step Distance include Run Time, Forward Start Force, Run Velocity, Run Acceleration, & Run Steps.
Approach Analysis calculations also use calculated values for specified Approach Time, Number of Turns, & Time Constant include Competitor Approach Distance, Implement Approach Rate, Approach Angle Velocity, Approach Angle Acceleration, & Time per Turn.
Specified Inputs for Throw Analysis include Vertical Acceleration, Approach Velocity, Throw Rate, Incidence Angle, Wind Velocity, & Implement Related Data.
Throw Analysis results include Throw Distance & Height Attained, Horizontal Force & Velocity, Vertical Force & Velocity, Flight Path Angle, Throw Release Velocity, Attitude Angle, & Throw Time. Specific values can be used to estimate strength levels required.
Training Plans are created using Create Plan Menu. Training Sessions associated with a specific training plan can then be created from generated data using Plan Session(s) Menu.
Individual independent Training Sessions are created using Create Sessions Menu. The following data is selected in sequence when Create Session is selected: Training Session, Athlete Name, Session Date, Training Season, Training Preparation(s), Training Phase(s), Training Event(s), & Event Types (Speed, Endurance, Distance, Strength, & Power).
Each Training Session is partially initialized with representative data. Training Session data can then be added or edited after the athlete completes each Training Session.
Individual Training Plans & Sessions can be created, updated, or deleted using Training menu selections.
Evaluation of Training results, after Training Session(s) data is available, provides event performance analysis & athlete fitness level estimates to help an athlete achieve peak performance.
Start Day, End Day, & Training Season are first selected from the Evaluation Menu. Speed, Endurance, Strength, or Power selection provides detail & summary evaluation results.
Sample training elements used to create training session(s) are provided. Elements provided include those for Sprint, Throw, Strength, & Power.
Results & Training Sessions is saved by entering a non-default (not Defaultxxx) Athlete Name.
Email, or print (with compatible device) is provided.
