TFJumpAnalysis provides jump events analysis & training for Track & Field
TFJumpAnalysis application (Part of TF Series) is based on accurate & complete athlete model for evaluating event performance & fitness. It uses supplied athlete data to optimize Run Way Approach & includes Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, & Pole Vault.
Application includes training capabilities used as Personal Training aid. It is compatible with & follows guidelines from USA Track & Field Coaching Manual.
Application uses supplied athlete data to analyze, predict, or optimize Jump Results, & training for Track & Field using supplied performance & training data. Training can then be adjusted based on analysis results. It is then periodically repeated for best results.
External file names start with EFLJ, EFTJ, EFHJ, or EFPV. Parameters & data supplied using csv (comma separated values) file.
Supplied athlete data, Run Distance, & Run Times used for accurate Approach Analysis. Calculated values for specified Run Way Distance, Max Run Rate, Time Constant, Max Step Distance, & Min Step Distance include Run Time, Forward Start Force, Run Velocity, Run Acceleration, & Run Steps.
Adjusted Max Run Rate & Max Step Distance values are determined to match actual measured Run Way distance & Run Time for the selected Run Steps.
Application provides accurate Jump Analysis in 3 dimensions. Horizontal Calculations include takeoff position & orientation from foul line, height gained & drop from peak height, distance to foot, proper landing orientation, & wind effects.
Vertical Calculations include takeoff position & orientation from cross bar or vault box, proper angle & orientation at takeoff, height obtained, proper orientation for clearance, & wind effects.
Jump Analysis Inputs include Athlete Height, Athlete Weight, Vertical Acceleration, Approach Rate & Angle, Landing Data or Form Data. Calculated values for specified input include Jump Distance or Height, Vertical Force & Velocity, Height Attained & Jump Time. Specific values can be used to estimate strength levels required.
Estimates of changes to athlete Maximum Run Velocity for specified environmental conditions are provided. Parameters include Selected Velocity & Athlete Weight. Adjustable environmental parameters include Parallel Wind Velocity, Temperature, Barometric Pressure, Altitude, & Relative Humidity. Results include Modified Velocity, typical 100 Meter Time, & Air Density.
Estimated Run Way distance wind adjustment uses Modified Velocity & Max Step Distance. Modified velocity & adjusted Max Step Distance are used to determine new Run Way distance for the desired Run Steps.
Training Plans are created using Create Plan Menu. Training Sessions associated with a specific training plan can then be created from generated data using Plan Session(s) Menu.
Training Sessions are created using Create Sessions Menu. Independent Sessions use the following data: Training Session, Athlete Name, Session Date, Training Season, Training Preparation(s), Training Phase(s), Training Event(s), & Event Types (Speed, Endurance, Distance, Strength, & Power).
Each Training Session is partially initialized with representative data. Training Session data can then be added or edited after the athlete completes each Training Session.
Training Plans & Sessions are created, updated, or deleted using Training menu selections.
Evaluation of Training results, with Training Session(s) data, provides event performance analysis & athlete fitness level estimates to help an athlete achieve peak performance. Start Day, End Day, & Training Season are first selected from the Evaluation Menu.
Speed, Endurance, Strength, or Power selection provides detail & summary evaluation results.
Sample training elements used to create training session(s) are provided. Elements provided include those for Sprint, Jump, Strength, & Power.
Results & Training Sessions are saved by entering a non-default (not Defaultxxx) Athlete Name.
Email, or print (with compatible device) is provided.
