Our Front & Female issue has a great lineup of exciting, trail-blazing individuals who broke ground for many others. Hot on the news of the constitutional amendment of granting automatic citizenship rights for children born to Malaysian mothers overseas, we have Family Frontiers' president Suriani Kempe as well as activist Rekha Sen on the cover. Both have been individually profiled by Tatler for this very topic, but this time they are featured through a unique lens where they share a conversation about personal events of their lives, and what it means to be a woman today. And even though women's rights are breaking headwinds, their conversation reveals that there are still many wrongs to address. Also featured are Dr Premitha Damodaran, the ob-gyn who spearheaded the clinical practice guidelines for menopause in Malaysia; Jade Lee, a banker turned social entrepreneur who lends her marketing expertise to boost the monthly income of women-led microenterprises; as well as Salleh Sepas, an Afghan director and playwright who advocates for gender equality and Afghan's women's rights.

Malaysia is experiencing a great awakening of taste, thanks to exceptional restaurants that have become culinary destinations, allowing us to try new dishes, flavours and cuisines plus different cooking techniques and ingredients. In celebration of our first Food Issue, Tatler Malaysia has not one but two cover versions of the February issue out on stands: one with Tatler Dining's Chef of the Year, Su Kim Hock and the other with the titular chef of Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, the establishment named as this year's Best New Restaurant by Tatler Dining. Also featured are interviews with two-star Michelin chef Mano Thevar, the ninth-generation Martell brothers, as well as the founders of Babylon Vertical Farms on how microgreens are more than just superfoods.

Others in the lineup include dietician Indra Balaratnam who teaches us to differentiate between a food allergy or intolerance, and psoriasis warrior Rocyie Wong who openly talks about her condition and the importance of empowering patients to make informed decisions for themselves.
