About Tai Chi

Only by installing this app will get a complete Tai Chi Tech Gallery

T'ai chi is an abbreviation of the word t'ai chi ch'uan, a martial arts and moving body technique developed in China. Taichi is very popular, usually done en masse in the morning in the park or open space.

Some people refer to Taichi as a mediation process wrapped in movement. His safe movement also makes taichi martial arts practiced throughout the world by various ages. In terms of health, according to doctors, taichi brings many benefits including improving balance, flexibility, stamina, blood pressure, heart health, mental, and symptoms related to stroke, fibromyalgia, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's.

In Chinese, some say Tai Chi means "High Level Fist", "Unlimited Punch," "High Blow", or "Smashing Punch". The term "high level", "unlimited", or "delicate" is intended as the use of Chi Energy power, which is considered to be very much above the strength of muscle or power (commonly used in general martial arts).

Tai Chi trains the use of this Chi Energy through balance exercises and harmony between 3 elements: physical movement, mind (concentration, calmness), and breath settings.

The movements in Tai Chi are designed in such a way that its discoverers are regarded as the most effective human movement or position in the flow of Chi Energy. In addition, this Energy Chi will not flow or circulate properly without any concentration and tranquility and good breathing arrangements.

Therefore, the detail of this "balance: physical movement, mind, and breathing arrangement" is what makes Tai Chi a much more complicated martial art than any other martial art in general. It usually takes a very long process for someone to master this beladiri than any other "hard" martial art. Those who are dynamic, aggressive, practical, and want to look "manly" are usually not interested in this martial art. On the contrary those who are philosophically oriented, life-balance, and health, would fit this martial art.
