CONGRESS OF THE BRAZILIAN SOCIETY OF THORACIC SURGERY

It is with great satisfaction that I announce the XXIII Congress of the Brazilian Society of Thoracic Surgery – Thorax 2023, considered the largest thoracic surgery event in Latin America! Thorax 2023 will take place from May 17 to 19, 2023 in the city of São Paulo, at the Rebouças Convention Center with a fully face-to-face format, following all WHO recommendations and safety measures against covid-19.

We are preparing a special event, with a scientific grid addressing current, challenging topics, as well as innovations for Thoracic Surgery. There will be three intense days of activities aimed at improving and discussing our clinical practice. We will have national and international guests, references in Thoracic Surgery and transmission of surgical procedures in real time. It will be a great opportunity to exchange knowledge and socialize, after the very restrictive period we have been through. The city chosen for the Congress, São Paulo, has several tourist attractions, with historical, cultural and scientific value, such as museums, parks and theaters, in addition to the bustling nightlife and gastronomy. The city of São Paulo and SBCT are ready to welcome you.
