Listen to your favorite station and rewind up to 5 hours in the broadcast. The SWR1 app offers a new live radio experience - anywhere and anytime. Plus traffic jam reports, weather forecast, contact to the studio - all in one app.

■ Listen to SWR1 live - wherever you want

Whether at work, in the gym or at home - with the SWR1 app you can listen to the radio at any time. However, streaming the radio program can consume a lot of data volume, so it is best to be in a WLAN.

■ The SWR1 podcasts to listen to again and again

Simply swipe from right to left when you're on the move and select one of the podcasts, such as SWR1 Leute or SWR1 Meilensteine, and download it. To save data volume here too, you can download the podcasts via Wi-Fi and then listen to them on the train or in the car, for example, even without internet.

With the SWR1 app, you are always informed about what is happening in the world and in your region. Particularly important events appear as "breaking news" via push notifications and these can be displayed directly on your lock screen - simply allow them under "Settings". You can choose between "Breaking News", SWR1 Highlights, "Sports News" or simply select all three options and never miss anything again.
