Surah Al-Bayyinah (Surah 98 in the Qur'an) is one of the surahs in the Qur'an which consists of 8 verses. This surah is included in the group of Madaniyah surahs, which means that this surah was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad after his migration to Medina.

Surah Al-Bayyinah focuses on the importance of understanding and following Allah's clear instructions. This surah also emphasizes the importance of acknowledging and following the messenger of Allah who was sent with clear evidence. This sura takes its name from the word "al-Bayyinah" which means "clear evidence" or "clear proof" which is mentioned in the first verse of this sura.

The following is the translation of Surah Al-Bayyinah in English:

"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scriptures and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence -

An Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures

Within which are correct writings.

Nor did those who were given the Scriptures become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence.

And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakat. And that is the correct religion.

Indeed, those who disbelieved among the People of the Scriptures and the polytheists will be in the fires of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.

Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures.

Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord." (Quran 98:1-8)

It means:

"In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

Those who disbelieve among the People of the Book and polytheists, will never rest (from their disbelief) until clear evidence comes to them:

a messenger from Allah, reciting the consecrated scrolls

therein is a straight (teaching),

and it was not divided among those who were given the Book except after clear evidence came to them.

And they were not ordered except to worship Allah by purifying obedience to Him in (carrying out) the straight religion, and that they establish prayer and pay zakat. And that is the straight religion.

Verily, those who disbelieve among the People of the Book and those polytheists will enter the Hellfire of Hell, they will abide therein forever. They are the worst creatures.

Verily, those who believe and do righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures.
