History :

The history of Negreiros Supermercados begins with a small bakery that becomes a “Dry and Wet” grocery store that becomes the most remembered supermarket chain in the region.

Our history is not only made up of great events, but also of everyday facts experienced in the neighborhood of Itaquera, located in the East Zone of São Paulo, and the lives of our employees, neighbors and customers, since the 1960s.

A pioneer in the food trade in the region, our company has always had trust as the basis of its relationship with its customers, using the famous “passbook” as a form of payment for many years.

In the 1990s, the company began its expansion and modernization with the opening of another store in the José Bonifácio neighborhood, acquiring its first electronic cash register, which represented a technological milestone.

In 2001, the commercial complex Negreiros Supermercados was inaugurated with the aim of playing an important social and economic role in the Cidade Tiradentes region by creating jobs and facilitating access to other services necessary for the development of this region.

From those days until today, the Network has been growing and changing continuously, establishing a presence in other neighborhoods such as Burgo Paulista, Vila Formosa, Ponte Rasa, Anália Franco and Sapopemba. But the work philosophy remains the same: to offer the best service and cost-benefit ratio for our customers.

In December 2015, the Chain's first store was modernized and reopened, and the Itaquera neighborhood gained an attractive store full of novelties, always maintaining its welcoming way of serving customers.
