Until the beginning of the sixties of the last century, it was used in some Gulf countries, and it begins with sunset, meaning that the sun sets at twelve o'clock, that is, after it has completed 24 hours, day and night. In this case, the sunset hour is divided into 24 hours, between night and day.

The reason for naming the western time is that it is set at the time of sunset until the beginning of (00) zero, indicating the beginning of a new day with the start of the night of that day. \ nOne of its disadvantages is the difference in timing between hours, and therefore it is considered inaccurate, and also the sunset timing, which is always delayed by a minute or two minutes or more than a minute depending on the difference in the summer and winter rotations, which is why you have to adjust the clock daily at sunset, so people moved to using the meridian clock for the International Time .
