Staple Commodity Market Monitoring Application is a proof of the seriousness of the government, especially the Ministry of Trade, to control and monitor the movement of strategic commodity trade flows throughout Indonesia, because with the Commodity Market Monitoring Application, it is hoped that development and maintenance will be sharpened and clarified. -indication of the trading system and commodity traffic flow, in addition to the availability of complete, continuous and up-to-date price data, this application will enable the government, especially the Ministry of Trade, to be more responsive to indications of rising prices for basic needs. The main objectives of the construction of the Commodity Market Commodity Market Monitoring Application are: Providing accurate and reliable information on the commodities of basic commodities which become the focus of monitoring to be further analyzed into recommendations for decision making for policy makers; Accurate and reliable information especially on price primary data. Pricing information will be provided is in the daily period for the consumer level and in the weekly period for the intermediary level price, where the process of updating the price is carried out in 66 districts / cities. In addition to price information, other information related to prices will also be provided, such as stock, foreign prices, import volume, harvested area, information and location of businesses, and others. Provide notifications (alerts) to stakeholders, if data behavior is detected that can indicate instability / price hikes and increase in disparity in prices of basic commodities between regions, scarcity of supply, or lack of stocks; The development of market monitoring applications will be carried out by building a model of early detection of national, provincial and district / city price developments, as well as the sources of problems. The results of this early detection will be conveyed to policy makers through notifications (alerts) to decision makers. The form of notification and the way of delivery will be described in a separate section. Providing alternative problem solving scenarios that can be implemented in the field in the event of a crisis / basic material problems. In addition to providing an early detection model, this work will also build system analysis models (logistics and distribution). Analysis models of this system will provide intervention suggestions for price policy makers. However, a more in-depth analysis is carried out by price analysts, outside the model or system built by the Ministry of Trade as a pilot project for the development of Market Material Commodity Monitoring Applications that will become the property of the government and people of Indonesia.
