About Sonic

this game was created for my university project

This game app developed using Unity software. This is a platform game which is that featuring two dimensional graphics where the player controls a character jumping or running between solid platforms at different positions on the screen.

Special features that I used in my game:

 Health system.

Player has a health bar to represent player health in game. It is reduced if player gets any damage. It is increases when player pick up a health.

 Player shooting.

Player character can shoot projectiles. The projectiles can damage enemy.

 Different game audio.

Used different audio clips in different levels.

 I also include power up boost.

When player gets a power up (green diamond) He can use that power within 10 seconds. When activated player animation state changes to rolling and he is invisible to any game object any enemy in the game. Player’s velocity also gets doubled.

 Player double jump.

If player is already is not in a ground position pressing Jump button again will add another force that he can jump again.

 Walking enemy AI

Enemies are moving in the game left and right. If enemy meets ground’s edge or an obstacle enemy AI will automatically change enemy direction.

 Walking and shooting enemy AI

Enemies are moving in the game left and right. If enemy meets ground’s edge or an obstacle enemy AI will automatically change enemy direction. If this enemy sees player within his shooting range he will shoot player. One shot will reduce enemy health by one.

 Boss enemy AI.

Boss enemy is moving in the game left and right. If enemy meets ground’s edge or an obstacle enemy AI will automatically change enemy direction. If it hits player health reduces to one. If this enemy sees player within his shooting range he will shoot player. One shot will reduce enemy health by one. When boss enemy health gets zero it will split into two boss enemies and size of that two enemies will be half of the main boss enemy.

 Spikes.

When player hit’s this object player will instantly die.

 Health pickup.

When player get this object he will get life expand of 3 units.

 Life pickup

When player get this object he will get one life expand.
