Single player card game
Solitaire is a popular single-player card game. The goal of the game is to build up four foundation piles (one for each suit) in ascending order from Ace to King, using the tableau and stock piles.
To start the game, a player deals out seven tableau piles of cards, with the first pile containing one card, the second pile containing two cards, and so on, with the seventh pile containing seven cards. The top card of each tableau pile is turned face up, and the remaining cards are placed face down in the stock pile.
The player can then begin to move cards around the tableau and foundation piles according to certain rules. Cards can be moved from one tableau pile to another in descending order, alternating colors (e.g., a black 10 can be placed on a red Jack). Only the top card of each tableau pile can be moved. Cards can also be moved from the stock pile to the tableau piles one at a time, and if the stock pile runs out, the player can turn over the waste pile to form a new stock pile.
When a player has a card or cards in descending order, alternating colors in a tableau pile, they can move the entire group to a foundation pile. The game is won when all four foundation piles have been completed, with each pile containing all the cards of one suit in ascending order from Ace to King.
If a player cannot make any more moves, they can start a new game or use the undo feature to try different moves. Solitaire Klondike is a game of skill and strategy, and the more a player practices, the better they will become.
