The formation of the present simple tense

The simple present tense in the English language consists of the verb in its basic form and the addition of the letter (S) or without (S).

We know that any verb in the English language has three forms, the first conjugation or what is known as the infinitive, the second conjugation (simple past) and the third conjugation (past perfect), but to form the simple present we only need the infinitive of the verb or the first conjugation.
