About Shifu Wallpapers

4K, HD, HQ red panda wallpapers, vertical backgrounds

The red panda, also known as the little panda (Ailurus fulgens), is a very timid and endangered species from the carnivores (Carnivora) order. It is also called "Cat bear" because it resembles a cat while licking it clean. The details of its zoological classification are still debated.

The red panda reaches 120 cm in length and 4.5 kg in weight. Its lifespan can reach 9-10 years in its natural environment and 14 years in a zoo.

It looks like a raccoon at first glance but is more elegant than a raccoon. The top is reddish-brown or coppery brown, and the underside is glossy black. The face is usually white, with markings resembling red-brown teardrops. Its nose is short and black, its head is rounded, and its ears are medium-sized and pointed. Its tail is ringed black and white.

The red panda doesn't make much noise. They make sounds like crowing or squeaking to communicate with each other.

The red panda is common in a geography stretching from Nepal east of the Himalayas to Yunnan province in China. This region prefers 10-25 °C in temperate areas, giant rhododendron, large bamboo or oak forests, and an altitude of 2000-4600 m.

The red panda is a very skilled climber. It hunts for food at night and spends the day sleeping in the branches of trees. It cannot endure hot weather at all; It can have problems in temperatures warmer than 25 degrees. That's why he spends all day sleeping on tall tree branches or in caves.

When they sense danger, they flee to inaccessible tree branches or rocky crevices. If they can't escape, they try to look bigger than they are by standing on two legs and defend themselves with their sharp-clawed forelimbs, thus inflicting deep wounds on their enemies. The red panda is not a dangerous animal, but it knows how to protect itself when cornered.

The red panda is usually solitary and only seeks a mate during the breeding season in December and February. At the end of a pregnancy lasting 120-140 days, they give birth to 1-4 puppies. The chicks remain attached to the nest for 12 weeks and reach reproductive maturity themselves after 18 months at the earliest. The male seldom assists in the care of the young.

It has been hunted extensively in southwest China. With the skin of the red panda, hats, which are very popular with the public, and small brooms for dusting with its tail were produced. The people of the area where the red panda lives have made the use of its skin even an inevitable part of their tradition; A married groom carries a small panda skin at the wedding party. In addition, it is illegally hunted and sold to zoos abroad for a small price, and the forests where it lives are rapidly narrowed.

Please choose your desired red panda wallpaper and set it as a lock screen or home screen to give your phone an outstanding appearance.
