Sheltered

An app designed to get the homeless off the streets and into shelters.

Walking down the street in down town San Francisco, poverty is everywhere. Many people have been forced onto the streets due to inflation of necessities like housing and medical care. Sheltered is an app created to reduce the homeless issue in San Francisco. The app has two interfaces that allow shelters to send information and events to homeless users. Sheltered lets homeless register for shelter beds, find resources such as food and update them on new events. The app features calendars, events and more, with an aim to bring resources to people living in the streets and end San Francisco's poverty plague.
