In 2004, the number of provinces in Indonesia was 33, and many people still don't know about this. In 2012, the number of provinces in Indonesia increased by one more with the formation of North Kalimantan Province, as a division of East Kalimantan. North Kalimantan Province was formed by Law no. 20 concerning the formation of North Kalimanatan Province. As stated in article 3 paragraph (1) of Law 20/2012. Thus, there are 34 provinces in Indonesia.

To fulfill and increase general information about the provinces in Indonesia, this book is presented. The book "History of 34 Provinces in Indonesia", contains history, geography, population, education, government, arts and culture, tourism and typical food in every province in Indonesia.
