The book of Psalms

The Biblical Psalms application contains all 150 Psalms of the Bible, in 3 different versions arranged in a small application, fast and easy to use and with the possibility of listening to them.

The word "Psalm" comes from a Greek verb meaning "to play a string instrument", and was originally used to designate the songs accompanied by that instrument. The latter was called "Psalter", but later the name lost its original significance and began to be used as a synonym of BOOK OF PSALMS.

The Psalms have been the prayers preferred by thousands of believers for many years, throughout history. They were recited by Jesus and his Apostles, the Virgin Mary and the great saints of all history. Moreover, no book of Sacred Scripture is so cited by Jesus and his Apostles as this book which is also called Psalter.

The central idea of ​​all the Psalms is how good our God is, how powerful and very faithful; kind to those who obey his law, and terrible to those who despise the divine commands.

They are made to learn, to pray, to listen to God, and to answer him. Each Psalm and Poem speaks of Christ and his Church, as Luc says. 24, 44. If, when you pray a psalm, you have not found Christ, return to praying, because you have lost the best.
