Salmo 96

Great Psalm

1 Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth!

2 Sing to the Lord, bless his name; each day proclaim your salvation!

3 Announce his glory among the nations, his wonderful deeds among all peoples!

4 For the Lord is great and worthy of all praise, more fearsome than all gods!

5 All the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens.

6 Majesty and splendor are before him; power and dignity, in his sanctuary.

7 Give to the Lord, O families of nations, give to the Lord glory and strength.

8 Give the Lord the glory due his name and enter his courts bringing offerings.

9 Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness; let all the inhabitants of the earth tremble before him.

10 Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!” Therefore the world stands firm and will not be shaken, and he will judge the peoples with justice.

11 Let the heavens rejoice and the earth rejoice! The sea resounds and all that is in it!

12 Let the fields and everything in them rejoice! Let all the trees of the forest sing for joy,

13 sing before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth; he will judge the world with justice and the peoples with his faithfulness!
