Salmo 54

Great Psalm

1 Save me, O God, for thy name's sake; defend me by your power.

2 Hear my prayer, O God; listen to my words.

3Foreigners attack me; cruel men want to kill me, men who don't care about God.

4 Surely God is my help; it is the Lord who sustains me.

5 May evil befall my enemies! Exterminate them for your faithfulness!

6 I will offer you a voluntary sacrifice; I will praise your name, O Lord, for you are good.

7 For he has delivered me from all my troubles, and my eyes have seen the defeat of my enemies.
