Great Psalm

1 When the Lord brought the captives back to Zion, it was like a dream.

2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with songs of joy. Even in other nations it was said, "The Lord has done great things for this people."

3 Yes, great things the Lord has done for us, so we are glad.

4 Lord, restore us, as you fill the riverbed in the wilderness.

5 Those who sow with tears, with songs of joy will reap.

6 He who goes out weeping as he sows the seed will return with songs of joy, bringing forth his sheaves.
