Welcome to the SafeCare library. We hope you find this a useful resource as you continue to focus on and improve the quality of care within your facility.

The SafeCare Library is an online library with over 400 medical and business management documents constructed specially for SafeCare facilitators and individual healthcare providers and personnel, participating in the SafeCare Quality Improvement Plan. It is a resource that enables you to access templates and guidelines which help you to improve quality of care within your healthcare facility.

Here are some useful tips to get you started:

Documentation: The Library consists of national (African countries) and international guidelines (WHO), standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists and other resources that will support the implementation of specific activities and services within your healthcare facility.

Search: By using the ‘search’ bar you can find all documents. You can search either by; criterion number of the SafeCare Assessment, document type (e.g. checklist), country etc. When a relevant document is found, it is possible to store, customize and e-mail the document using the available tools on your mobile device.

Online/offline: The Library can be accessed both online and offline. When a Wi-Fi connection is activated, the Library is being updated automatically. When connection to a Wi-Fi printer is available, the documents can be printed directly.

Support: The Library is hosted in the Netherlands. In case of any problems, it is vital to provide detailed information (if possible a screenshot) about the observation.

Improving the Library: Our goal is to support you with the implementation of your SafeCare Quality Improvement Plan. Please let us know if you have any comments about the type of documents, its content, missing documentation that should be made available, or anything else that could improve the SafeCare Library.
